The decor of Petronikoli Traditional House was absolutely charming, reminding me of a bygone era. The traditional style and attention to detail created a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel, such as the garden and pool, were beautifully maintained and provided a serene and tranquil setting for relaxation. As a senior woman, I really appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The gentle slope leading to the rooms made it easy for me to navigate, ensuring a comfortable stay.
If I were to ask for one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be helpful if the children working there could provide assistance with carrying heavy luggage up the steep hill from the rooms to the car. While this was not a major issue, it would have made the departure process more convenient and enjoyable.

Its location was wonderful, a few steps away from Labyrinth. Welcoming staff and host, they treated us like family...

The pool was epic, perfect for chillin' and coolin' off after a long day of exploring. The garden was sick too, we played frisbee and had a blast! Plus, the hotel was close to this lit village where we joined in on the local festival and danced all night!
If there was one thing we could've changed, it would've been to have a sick party spot at the hotel. Like, imagine if they had a rooftop terrace with sick beats and strobe lights?

Petronikoli Traditional House exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money. The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully furnished, providing a comfortable stay. The location, nestled in a quiet village with stunning views of the surrounding hills, offered a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hosts, Nikos and Evangelia, were incredibly amiable and hospitable, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. We highly recommend indulging in the delicious breakfast and dinner options offered. The small swimming pool and terrace added to the overall charm of the property, providing a perfect spot to unwind.
While the breakfast selection was enjoyable, there could have been more variety to cater to different tastes and preferences.

Great local feel and charming atmosphere. Nice pool area with comfortable seating and beautiful view.- Dinner cooked by the host was delicious and a convenient option.- Quiet and peaceful location, perfect for getting away from busy accommodations
Steep hill to access rooms, difficult for guests with heavy luggage. Language barrier with older parents who greeted us, had to rely on their son for translation.

The rooms were big and clean, and the swimming pool was perfect for chillin' and splashing around. The hosts were super cool and friendly, even if they didn't speak much English. We loved exploring the beautiful nature around the village and checking out the nearby wineries. It was so dope to learn about Greek wine!
If you're a party animal like us, you might want some more nightlife options nearby. But hey, who needs clubs when you've got good vibes and good times at Petronikoli Traditional House?

The apartments at Petronikoli Traditional House are so cozy with their wooden ceilings. I felt like I was in a charming old cottage, making me feel right at home.
The only thing I didn't love was the industrial units of maturation and wine bottling. It just wasn't my cup of tea, but others might find it fascinating.

After a long day of traveling, we arrived at Petronikoli Traditional House and were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, even making us a delicious dinner and providing us with fruit for dessert. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. Although the breakfast could have been more varied, it still offered a satisfying start to the day. Located in a charming Cretan village, the surroundings added to the authentic experience. Despite some apartments being slightly dark and the steep slope around the hotel, we found our overall stay to be enjoyable. The staff's kindness and helpfulness outweighed any minor drawbacks. I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant and authentic stay in a beautiful village.

The location in the middle of wine-country was absolutely stunning and provided the perfect base for exploring the Lyrarakis winery, which was a jaw-dropping experience. The apartment itself was charming, with a lovely terrace opening into an alleyway. We enjoyed our fresh breakfast from a nearby bakery on the terrace, while the option for breakfast at the hotel was also available. The convenience of having several restaurants just a short walk away, such as Semeli's, where we had an amazing dining experience twice, was a definite plus. The overall charm of the accommodation was enhanced by the thoughtful touch of a small bottle of Raki in our room. We loved the clean and inviting pool, and although time didn't permit us to try the grill outside, other guests seemed to enjoy their orders. The owners were incredibly accommodating, even preparing a delicious Greek salad dinner for us upon our late arrival. Despite the short stay, the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, accommodating the four of us easily. The hosts, Evangelia and Niko, made our evenings super enjoyable, providing homemade local meals and creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The property's location close to Heraklion allowed us to explore the city as well as the mountains and the sea in the south. Our stay here left us with genuine friendships and wonderful memories. We highly recommend this property for its proximity to the wine region, friendly hosts, and a charming and comfortable Cretan-style house.

Despite it being winter, the room was warm and cozy. The pool looked nice and clean, although I didn't get a chance to try it. The location was perfect - walking distance to the charming village and there was a fantastic restaurant nearby. The breakfast served was top-notch and the host was incredibly kind and accommodating.
